Authentic storytelling: Performing as a union soldier from the Battle of Springfield, Civil War reenactor Chris Sutton describes the battle to MHS students. On Thursday, Jan. 10, Sutton addressed students from the elementary, middle school and high school.

MHS Chess Club met Tuesday, Oct. 23, forĀ  informal competition among members. Club members met in adviser Jane Wehmeyer’s classroom during advisory time.

Bonfire dance

From 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. on Oct. 18, MHS Stuco held a bonfire dance behind the high school. Stuco members and other MHS students attended, talking and dancing to kick off a three day weekend following the end of first quarter and four days of parent/teacher conferences.
