Summit Conference Art Contest
Sunday, February 14th, 2010Bringing home the ribbons, MHS art students competed in Summit Conference Art Contest on Feb. 13. Winners were:
2nd : Mixed media – Brianna Cubellis
3rd : Water based paints – Robin Barth
1st : Water based paints – Savannah Phifer
1st : Printmaking – Savannah Phifer
Other students attended the contest, including Chance Allen, Macy Allison and Travis Laudecer. Although they did not win ribbons, they did have fun. Shown below are Allison and an impromptu creation. “We built a robot out of Styrofoam!” she exclaimed. “We put it together with hot glue and paper clips.”
